New volunteers are always welcome.  Emergency responders carry pagers and are "on call" whenever they are in the District and are able to respond to emergencies.  In addition to responding to calls, members attend monthly business and training meetings, as well as special training events and schools throughout the year.  Members may join as firefighters, medical first responders, or both.  All training is provided by the department.  

In addition, there are opportunities to volunteer with the department in non-responder roles.  These areas include fundraising, grant-writing, web design, publicity, and more.  Volunteering in a non-responder role is a great way to support your community and fire department even if you are not interested in being a firefighter.
